   Free, with no catch

   No monthly fee. No lead fee. Bid on as many jobs as you like. Cash jobs are fee-free — you keep every taka. When the customer pays through Shohokari, a 2.5% service fee is deducted and you receive the rest as your payout.

   Open identity, not hidden bids

   Customers see your full name, your business, your base area, and your verified-phone tick. They are picking a person, not a number. Trade-side trust is built into the page.

   Post your offer, win the job

   A price and a few lines on how you would do it. No quote templates, no chasing. The customer accepts the offer they like best and the chat opens immediately.

   Talk to the customer direct

   Once they accept, the customer’s phone number is one tap away. The job is between you and them — we don’t insert ourselves into the relationship. Getting paid is your choice too: cash direct, or through Shohokari’s checkout with a 2.5% service fee.

Is this actually free? What’s the catch?

Listing and bidding are free — no monthly fee, no per-lead fee. How you get paid is up to you and the customer: cash direct (no fee), or through Shohokari’s secure checkout, where a 2.5% service fee is deducted from your payout. There is no other charge on the basic flow.

How do I get paid?

Two ways, your choice. Cash (or bank transfer) direct from the customer — no fee, we never touch it. Or the customer pays through Shohokari’s secure checkout (card, bKash, Nagad, Rocket): we collect it, deduct a 2.5% service fee, and pass your 97.5% payout on to you, tracked on your earnings page.

Who sees my phone number?

Customers who explicitly tap "Reveal phone number" on your profile (which we count + show on your dashboard), and customers whose offer you’ve accepted (the chat opens with phone one tap away). Anonymous casual browsers never see your number.

Can I be on Shohokari AND another platform?

Yes. There’s no exclusivity clause. List wherever you like; use Shohokari for the leads it produces.

How does search ranking work?

Area match first — a helper whose area exactly matches the customer’s ranks above one matched only at district level — then recency of activity (recently active = higher). No paid bumps, no premium tiers. Cover more trades and stay active and you’ll rank better.

What if a customer doesn’t pay or cancels last-minute?

Mark the task as Disputed when prompted to confirm completion. Admin reviews; outcome is Completed or Cancelled with an audit trail. We can’t force a customer to pay you — we can flag persistent bad actors and remove them from the marketplace.

Do I need a trade certificate or licence?

Whatever the law requires for your trade in Bangladesh — same as anywhere else. We don’t verify credentials at signup, but customers can ask to see your trade certificate, National ID, and any references in the questions thread before accepting; if you claim certifications you don’t hold, you’re removed and your record kept.

How do alerts work? Will my phone ring at 3am?

You pick the trades and the district (and area, if you want) to watch. We send a single daily digest at 08:00 of any new matching jobs in the previous 24h. There is no per-job push notification; the digest is the only alert.

Can I edit or withdraw a bid?

Yes — until the customer accepts. Once accepted, the offer is locked + the chat opens. Withdrawal before acceptance is one click on the offer card.

I’m new to my trade / self-employed. Can I still list?

Yes. We don’t require years-of-experience filters. Pitch honestly in your bid — the customer decides on what you write, not on how long you’ve been listed.
